R.C.I.A.

Ever wanted to become a Catholic or know someone who does? Maybe you just want to find out more? No hooks! No pressure! R.C.I.A. stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults!






Passionist Family Groups

This is for everyone, whereby family groupings of all ages can meet for social activities and caring and sharing. It has responsibility for welcoming new members to the parish, assisting fasmilies in need, and liasing with the Home Ministry and Hospital Visiting Teams.






The Caring Group

This group's concern is the spiritual and physical welfare of people within the parish and in the wider community to those in need.






The Catholic Women's League

Women of all ages are welcome to this group which meets once a month for social occasions and discussion on issues affecting women. It also raises money for the missions.




Home Ministry

Those confined to their homes or reside in nursing retirement homes, receive the Blessed Sacrament and regular visiting from a team in the parish.





Hospital Ministry

This is carried out by an inter-church and trained group who visit the hospital wards in their own time.
